Going on Hiatus
Hey everyone,
Sorry to spring this on you all, however, When Stars Fall will be going on a hiatus until I can find a new character artist for the game. Due to personal differences, Bullstorm and I will no longer be working together, so until I can find a new artist and get new assets for the game, it will be on hiatus. I will also be unpublishing my Patreon for now, while it was set up as just a tip jar to use for getting assets, I won't be charging or collecting money when I don't have a timeframe or idea of when I'll be able to provide content again.
With that said, this isn't me ending the project or abandoning it, I still fully intend to keep working on it, it's just going to be set back a while until I can start working on it again. Without Visuals, it's not much of a Visual Novel.
I also want to thank you guys so much for all of the love and support you guys have shown this project and I hope that once it's back and running, I'll have some quality content to give you guys.

don't despair friend, another artist will come your way. the writing is still in tact and so are the characters, the visual's will just be changing and knowing the promising story and ideas it will be for the better.

It's no problem honestly, these things happen unexpectedly. Take the time you need and good luck on the search. I'm sure the novel will be fantastic regardless of hiatus or not, it has been so far!
All the best on finding the new artist. Try to take the Setbacks as a blessing in disguise. It may help you even further for your VNs. Hope everything goes well for you man. And do keep up the good work even though its on hiatus.

I really liked the current art, but I'm sure new artist you will find will be able to still capture the same characters
And although art is quite important, we are here for the story and characters, no matter who paints them.
Sad, but understandable. I'll wait to see what happens, then. I hope that despite this setback, that you'll march on. It would be a shame if this wonderful VN were to be cancelled...
That's really sad. When a society dissolves it's the project that ends up undermined, like children after parents' divorce. I hope you can find an artist that can keep up the style of the visuals, sooner than later. This project is so promising! It lacks nothing! The visuals, the effects, the music, the transitions, the dialogues, the characters, the plot... and it's clear the amount of work and love involved on it. Please, don't let it die!
