You know, teleportation and gate magic is quite prone to accidents. Why, you could end up stranded on a deserted island halfway around the world if you’re not careful!
Hopefully sometime in the beginning of January depending on holiday plans and irl work related things. When the update draws closer and I have a more specific idea of the time frame, I'll let everyone know. :)

Haven't even started the game yet, but I am already enjoying it. The visual art for the start page and the song have already drawn my interest. Can't wait to see how my first playthrough goes.
Possibly. I honestly haven't planned that far ahead yet for the exact details of how it will affect each character, but basically it will make it more difficult to work with that character in the future and they may try to sabotage you in some way within the story.

Yes, it's possible. However, double checking the code, I did accidentally switch the straight and right. I've fixed it so it will be correct in the next update. So sorry about that!
The working directions currently in the game are right, left, straight, right, left, right. That will get you to the main hall.
It will give you a boost to your starting stats. Stong = strength, Fast = Dexterity and Tough = Constitution. Your stats will affect the dialogue and story in different ways.
Lmao. The other stats such as intelligence, wisdom and charisma are able to be boosted based on your early decisions as well, they are just more subtle than the direct question for the physical attributes.
So far, I'm definitely enjoying this story so far! Especially with the fact you're able to choose how your main character looks and acts like as a person, which is something I really enjoy in game so you can feel a bit more immersed and feel like you're in the story yourself! The love interests are all really enjoyable! I'm a sucker for the rather bold and confident guys like Qrom ;w; he'll probably be my first route I go through in the long run, but the other characters are pretty interesting and fun too! Orion and Silas are both tied as my second favs and Reth definitely seems like an interesting character to save for last cuz I feel his route will definitely have some feels that I'm ready for ;w;
All in all, a really good visual novel with a bright future! I can't wait to see the future updates and how the story goes from this point moving forward!

It's mostly going to be about getting started in your classes, meeting the professors, and possibly introducing some game mechanics if I can figure out how to implement them. So far though they're not working XD so it may just be some early stages of daily academy life with some character interactions.

The game quite enjoyable so far. I do have some critiques to what you have so far if you don't mind me sharing. (If you don't I guess this is where you'd stop reading this comment.)
From what I've seen so far of the setting it looks like your going a high fantasy post medieval era. It's actually really nice to see fantasy taken to places outside of the middle ages, however there's some confusion as to how advanced society is as a whole (at least to me). This isn't a problem, however you may want to lay out exactly what your society is technologically capable of before hand and work in those details throughout the story when appropriate (or necessary). This should help keep players immersed into the story as sudden introductions of (perceived) advanced technologies can easily break it.
It also should help prevent issues where you have technologies juxtaposed to more advanced ones that seemingly obsolete them for no explainable reason. An example of this is actually the horse and carriage when compared to the tent. From what was explained in-game, the tent basically allows for near instant transportation from one point to another regardless of distance. If that's the case, why did Silas need to take a week long buggy trip through potentially dangerous area? Why wouldn't anyone take this seemingly much safer route in that case? Why wouldn't merchants/kingdoms make teleportation networks for trading and military purposes? Would highwaymen really be successful enough in such a world where they'd actually resort to it? On an unrelated note, these questions have the potential to lead to some generally interesting questions about the characters and the setting,
As for the characters, I actually really like them so far. I'm looking forward to learning more about them. As a side question, is choosing your major the same as choosing what route your on? If that's the case you probably need to make that clear when it actually starts to matter.
Anyway, yeah! I'm interested to see where this goes from here.

That said, depending on your major, you will spend more time with the character relating to that major, but won't be limited to who you can choose to be with overall.
Will there be any plans to release an Android version for this? My phone is the only place I can install VNs in and I've been really curious about this one for a while now. 👀
Yes, I've been testing it out and I think with the next update I'll be able to have an android version as well. It may not be pretty, but if it functions I'll still make it available for download.

Tunasalad is correct (That's a fun sentence XD). It's still a work in progress. Currently those two are not selectable. In the next update they will be selectable, however if there isn't any content for that specific route, it will give you a notification instead of just being unclickable.
At the moment it does nothing. It was me testing out how flags worked in renpy. Eventually I hope to have some sort of inventory system (even if it's a bit basic) and have some items that will serve a purpose.

Currently the shield and amulet are unselectable because I don't have character assets related to those classes just yet. In the next update I'll have all the choices clickable and if one of them doesn't have any new content, I'll have a note for that in game.

Depending on the class you choose you will likely have more dialog with the character related to that class, but you will still have all characters as an option.
Like the desktop icon? If so, I've tried lol. The .ico and .icns files are where they supposedly need to be(according to the renpy documentation), but for some reason they aren't working. The taskbar icon should be working (granted it's a bit too small). I've still been looking into it and will hopefully have that issue fixed by the next update. :)
If you are referring to another icon then I'm not sure I followed. ^^'
I've really enjoyed this story and I also like the strange happenings with no explanation (which I know many people hate) so far but I do have one question... Is the class selection the route selection? If I chose mage classes am I choosing Silas's Route? I'm asking because that is what it feels like since two of the options are closed off.
I'm glad you're enjoying it! The classes are more so for different dialog and story options down the road. My goal is to not restrict character romance options by class.
Depending on the class you choose you may spend more time with a character of the same class, but you will still be able to romance any character(s) you choose.
For instance, you can be a mage and still romance Orion or Reth or any other character, you won't be restricted to only choosing Silas(you will likely have more interactions with Silas as a mage, but will still have opportunities to be with others).
Two of the options are currently closed off since I didn't have character sprites for the characters that share those classes. In future updates I'll be making them selectable (with dialog saying if they are not implemented yet) to hopefully cut down on confusion.
I'm honestly really impressed with this game so far! The main cast all seem interesting (and attractive), and while the whole "amnesiac in another world" story may be kinda cliché, it's done really well so far, I feel. There's enough worldbuilding and foreshadowing in this first build that it keeps you interested in the story, but it isn't super in-your-face about it and doesn't distract you from the story or anything, which is nice.
Not to mention, for a first build, the art and UI for this game looks absolutely amazing! I don't think I've ever seen a game look this good right out of the gate, so kudos for that!

Haha thank you! Figuring out UI customization was hell at first so I forced myself to stick with it and figure it out. I'm hoping to improve it in the future as I learn more about it.
As for the sprite art, I can only thank Bullstorm for that. He's a great artist and he really worked with me to make sure the characters looked as good as I imagined.
Yea, the plot hook is definitely a bit of a cliché, but I'm hoping that with enough twists and surprises it will still keep interest and build intrigue.
Surprisingly good read. Magic system is interesting, characters are likeable while having some depth behind them and it has welcoming and soothing atmosphere, while hiding something very sinister and disturbing underneath the MC's backstory. Despite using assets from other sources, they all feel like they fit surpringly well and natural in this whole package. I'm waiting for more

Yes, Qrom will be romanceable and I'm hoping to add at least one more character to be romanceable as well (just haven't decided on the details of that character yet).
Currently since I didn't have actual art assets for Qrom or the fifth character I left the two classes relating to those two unclickable. In future updates, if the option isn't available yet I'll add a note in game.
While each class will have a romanceable character tied to it, you will still be able to romance any character regardless of the class you choose. It's just that starting out I was waiting till I had more assets for the characters relating to those unselectable classes.

I have a question for the developer. Is the gold ring a quest related item or it increases stats to Marcus when equipped?

Is the class selection the route selection? If I chose mage classes am I choosing Silas's Route? I'm asking because that is what it feels like since two of the options are closed off.
I'm glad you're enjoying it! The classes are more so for different dialog and story options down the road. My goal is to not restrict character romance options by class.
Depending on the class you choose you may spend more time with a character of the same class, but you will still be able to romance any character(s) you choose.
For instance, you can be a mage and still romance Orion or Reth or any other character, you won't be restricted to only choosing Silas(you will likely have more interactions with Silas as a mage, but will still have opportunities to be with others).
Two of the options are currently closed off since I didn't have character sprites for the characters that share those classes. In future updates I'll be making them selectable (with dialog saying if they are not implemented yet) to hopefully cut down on confusion.

I'm honestly really impressed with this game so far! The main cast all seem interesting (and attractive), and while the whole "amnesiac in another world" story may be kinda cliché, it's done really well so far, I feel. There's enough worldbuilding and foreshadowing in this first build that it keeps you interested in the story, but it isn't super in-your-face about it and doesn't distract you from the story or anything, which is nice.
Not to mention, for a first build, the art and UI for this game looks absolutely amazing! I don't think I've ever seen a game look this good right out of the gate, so kudos for that!

Haha thank you! Figuring out UI customization was hell at first so I forced myself to stick with it and figure it out. I'm hoping to improve it in the future as I learn more about it.
As for the sprite art, I can only thank Bullstorm for that. He's a great artist and he really worked with me to make sure the characters looked as good as I imagined.
Yea, the plot hook is definitely a bit of a cliché, but I'm hoping that with enough twists and surprises it will still keep interest and build intrigue.
Surprisingly good read. Magic system is interesting, characters are likeable while having some depth behind them and it has welcoming and soothing atmosphere, while hiding something very sinister and disturbing underneath the MC's backstory. Despite using assets from other sources, they all feel like they fit surpringly well and natural in this whole package. I'm waiting for more

I see and you are welcome) By the way, will there be more romancable characters (like Qrom for example) in the future? I've noticed that out of five classes there are two of which I can't choose yet
Yes, Qrom will be romanceable and I'm hoping to add at least one more character to be romanceable as well (just haven't decided on the details of that character yet).
Currently since I didn't have actual art assets for Qrom or the fifth character I left the two classes relating to those two unclickable. In future updates, if the option isn't available yet I'll add a note in game.
While each class will have a romanceable character tied to it, you will still be able to romance any character regardless of the class you choose. It's just that starting out I was waiting till I had more assets for the characters relating to those unselectable classes.
