I'm sure the artist is thrilled to hear that you enjoy the art! Yes, currently Guardian(shield) and Holy Arts(Amulet) are not available in this build. They will be available in future updates. Starting with the next update, even if they aren't available, I've changed it so that they are clickable and will give a message stating that they are not available yet to hopefully cut down on the confusion.
I love what I've seen so far! It reminds me very strongly of the "Choice of Games" style text rpgs.
Good world-building, likeable dateable NPCs, and the stats and class system is pretty interesting. They're rarely used in VNs. I'm particular to Silas and Orion so far. (Others seem to be the same, based on the comments I see)
There's a few VNs that I like but it's been a long while since I experienced that made me shiver in excitement. Can't wait to see more!
Woow I must say that I have enjoyed this Vn so far, not only does the story promise a lot, each of the characters are great (for now Silas is my favorite followed by Orion) and I must emphasize that the music is just amazing, so beautiful and you enjoy listening to it. Been following your twitter for several months, been enjoying the sneak peeks, and I'm so glad for the 0.1 release! This is off to a really great start, the characters are well-introduced (and quite attractive), the pacing is good, and the dialog never wears out its welcome while still providing excellent character development. The world, setting, and different races are great, has that feeling of a really well put-together D&D campaign. I'm also digging the role playing game mechanics you've implemented, I think that'll be a cool addition to the story.
As a side note, I played on a Mac and didn't run into any bugs while trying out multiple choices in the story, everything seemed to work fine.
Overall, loving this VN so far, you've gotten me invested in this story and I'm looking forward to future updates!

Wow! What a fantastic start to the story! I'm so torn between Silas and Orion, while Silas is so friendly, Orion strikes me as the kind who is very sweet but has no idea how to go about it, and that awkward nerd is very appealing to me...
I have some questions though, mainly about how exactly the "Major" declaration will effect the storyline, whether it will effectively determine who's route we go down (Silas for Mage, Orion for Fighter etc) or could we for example choose to be a Guardian (if I'm reading it right it's kinda like a Paladin/Battlemaster kinda deal?) and still get with any of the characters? Also how will the stats you're assigned effect what choices you can make, like a sufficiently strong character can take an option to break down a door while a sufficiently charismatic character can persuade someone to part with information? And how will the stats effect what major we choose? Currently I'm a very charismatic fighter, not sure how optimised that is...
Really looking forward to what you've got in store next! Thoroughly enjoyed what I played so far!

My goal is to not have your class restrict the character(s) you can romance. It's more of a baseline for different story options that will be available to you based on class. The same applies to the stats. They're more so used (currently) to unlock different dialog options and they will affect your performance in your major's classes (Intelligence for Mage, Dexterity for Rogue, Strength for Fighter, Charisma for Guardian and Wisdom for Holy Arts). That being said I also don't want the game to feel restricted if a player doesn't have an "optimized build" so for now the stats are more for an extra layer of flavor to the story.
For instance, in the current build, if you have a higher charisma you unlock options to see some of the characters naked if you so choose where as if your charisma score is not high enough those options are not shown.
The very first few choices in the introduction will give you stats based on your choices. The ones that award the most are "Love" and "friends"/"lover" the rest are earned by making "bold" choices and being successful in some things which I won't spoil here. :P

My first and only language is English so the only way I would be able to have the game translated is through volunteer work or commissions much further into the future. As of now I don't have any specific plans for translation, but it is something that I hope can be done in the future.

Will qrom be dateable? Also love the art and the story is really interesting, my only complaint is that the art looks like it has a blur affect on it and is hard too see but other than that it seems perfect so far.
Yes, Qrom will be a dateable option in future updates. I can look into the sprites to see what may be going on. It may be because of the resizing I had to do to make them fit the screen the way they needed to. I don't know if there's anything I'd be able to do about it, but I will investigate. (If it's the backgrounds you were referring to then those I did intentionally add a filter because they are all placeholders until I can commission actual backgrounds.) Thank you :)
I did mean the sprites but I think it might be the art style cause I looked at the images closely and they looked fine especially reths his seems easy to distinguish to me. I take back what I said the arts fine just hard for my brain to distinguish not being blurry. but seriously so far very good vn.

If you navigate successfully, you will meet Reth first, if you navigate incorrectly you will meet Orion first. Depending on who you meet first, the dialog can change slightly.
Hey I tried the demo and loved it, literally want to romance all of the characters (which is rare as usually I only go for like 2 out of the possible characters) I think the story is great and I cant wait for next part :)
Does the class you choose depict who you are going to be with? For example if you chose the mage class would you be with Silas? Or could you choose fighter and still be with Silas?
Depending on the class you choose you'll spend more time with characters of the same class, but my goal is to not restrict who you can choose to romance based on your class.

Soo... I ended play to the "When stars fall" a few minutes ago and what I want to say about this one: it's amaizing! Arts, music, backgrounds and (the main) a story are perfect. I haven't words to say what I felt when I was playing (bacause of I don't good in this arts, heh-heh :p), but whatever it's a wonderful game which have a potentional! I'll follow. (Wait a minute: I already following!) So this isn't a reason to discussion.
Amnesia (or some kind of losing memory I don't know what with him exactly) adds mystic in the game. You know how to intrigue, did you know about that?:D
Also I note major choosing. It's looks like if you're choose class of hero of some kind of action-game or RPG. And this combination with VN is pretty interesting turn from you. I like it :3

I definitely wanted to branch away from the "normal" feel of a VN at least slightly in some areas to add something extra and enjoyable. Plus, I personally enjoy stories with some mysteries to figure out and ones that keep me guessing so I wanted to incorporate that into this story as well.

At the early stages I don't know that it will be implemented much, but I have some of the screens already in reserve for when I'll be able to add it in game.
I really couldn't find the word to describe this. It's still a demo, but I can see the thoughts put on it. It's really great and outstanding. It got me hooked almost instantly. I want more!
Oh and at first Silas got me hooked, but then I met Orion and now I love him because we both like quietness xD

I can look into a possible toggle setting for it if that's a possible thing that can be done. Otherwise the portrait is tied to the character speaking. The only way to hide it would be to hide the whole textbox with the default "H" key (on PC at least, not sure if it's the same key on mac off the top of my head).
This VN is simply amazing. I love the field and the field music is catchy and peaceful. I look forward to future updates like the MC facial customization. The rpg stuff is good. Silas is my only favorite and I can't wait to see more of him. Keep up the good work!

Really impressed by this first demo, it's quite meaty and really hooked me in! After having done only one run through I'd say Silas is the best boy pick for the moment, but I'm enjoying all of the cast so far and really wanna see where this all leads to. Keep it up, there's a lot of promise here!

Maybe he's just got a rough exterior and is sweet on the inside or maybe he's just a jerk lol, but as the game progresses there will be more opportunities to learn about Reth and possibly change his attitude toward the MC.

It's a fairly early WIP demo, bound to be some dead ends or unfinished untouched stuff, or paths just not fleshed out yet, just try a different class for now, After that point the end of the demo is pretty soon so just make sure to save that choice scene for later. Hopefully there will be a skip and rewind function for future replays, :3

However, the first few updates will likely require a restart due to the nature of the program with adding new assets and variables for those assets. Once the majority of the assets are added, then hopefully the content will be playable from the last saved spot each update.
